The library is the hub of academic student life on campus. The Dr. C.V. Raman University houses a spacious library, stacked with more than 40,000 books, 5,000 titles and thousands of CDs, journals and reports that cover all subjects pertinent to the courses. The CVRU library consists of a Central Library and separate Department Libraries to help students and faculties alike have easy access to course and reference materials through a membership card. Besides a huge collection of books on Engineering, Science and Humanities, the library has a total seating capacity of 600 with an Integrated Information System in place. All its activities including acquisition, cataloguing, circulation and stock verification have been computerized.

The college provides a well-equipped and well-maintained centralized digital library that also has a vast section of national and international journals, magazines, reference materials and publications of renowned academicians. It houses a collection of over 200 video lectures, delivered by IIT faculties on various undergraduate courses. We encourage our students to stay updated on the latest innovations and developments from around the world. Special issues of journals, papers and CDs have been made available at CVRU. The library has a unique Audio-Video section and two Reading Halls.
