The Department of Sanskrit and Ancient Language was established in the year 2022. Currently the department is offering BA and MA Sanskrit as well as Research Programme Ph. D in Sanskrit. The Department of Sanskrit and Ancient Language has been providing excellent teaching and in depth research from the very beginning. The main aim of the department is to bring out the ancient knowledge system of India and pass it to the students. Several Vedas, Upanishad and other ancient literature are written in Sanskrit only. The department is also doing the translation work of these literatures.
