From the Pro-Chancellor's Desk     

Dear Students, Faculty, and Respected Members of the Dr. C. V. Raman University Community,

It is with a high degree of pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I speak to you today as we continue to build on the foundations of academic excellence, innovation, and inclusivity that define our institution. On the occasion of its establishment, our university was named after the Nobel Laureate Dr. C. V. Raman. The university is dedicated to fostering minds, research, and knowledge resources for the Indian and international knowledge economies.

Our idea of holistic education provides the student with both academic rigor and character development so that each student is not only successful in his or her area but also an accountable and compassionate member of society. We continue to refine our curriculum to include modern, interdisciplinary courses in order to keep abreast with international developments and the needs of the contemporary work force.

As we pursue the establishment of our research activities and partnerships, we are also dedicated to creating an environment that fosters transformative learning for our faculty and students. Our new initiatives will focus on incorporating technology and sustainability into our curricula, thus better preparing our graduates to become innovators and leaders in their disciplines.
