The campus of the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Dr. C. V. Raman University is located at the tribal region of Kota, District Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. The Faculty of Commerce and Management (FCM) was established with the aim of creating a premier education destination in India that would draw scholars, faculty members, professionals, and researchers from across the country. The Faculty encourages a multidisciplinary approach to education. The syllabus is student-centric and encourages critical thinking, creative problem solving, and a lifelong passion for learning. The campus of FCM is well-equipped with adequate classrooms with modern teaching aids, seminars halls, a library and laboratories with contemporary software and hardware. The learning and teaching resources are designed for offline as well as online education.
The Faculty aims to provide decent, creative graduates with a business-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset ready to provide leadership to both the private and public sectors. Not only this, but faculty also focus on providing quality education to their students, which will help in the sustainable development of students as well as of society.
To prepare a new generation of Chartered accountants, Managers, entrepreneurs, and bankers for the business society and nation. To fulfil the growing demand for financial experts, marketing experts, and human auditors in industries, businesses, and financial institutions.
We provide 100 percent placement support to our students. The university has a Central Placement Cell, headed by a placement officer and with a senior faculty member as its advisor. The placement cell organises many seminars, expert talks, and interactive sessions from time to time for the development of students’ skills.

The purpose is to encourage, guide and coordinate the initiatives of the faculty and students towards doctoral research in Commerce and Management faculty, towards major and minor research projects, towards organizing of national and international conferences, towards presentation of research papers and their publication in reputed journals, and similar other research-related matters. Faculties from various departments have registered patents in the field of science and technology, humanities, Information Technology etc. Not only these but many programmes like National and international conference are organized in the campus as well as faculties are encouraged to participate in such activities outside the campus also. Workshops, seminars guest lectures, expert talk are organized from time to time by the departments.
Dr. C. V. Raman University has a well-established research culture that provides the necessary infrastructure, financial assistance, and a proper academic environment to all its students as well as to its Scholars. It has enabled the maintenance of the growth trajectory of research and development at the university. Research activities at the University are governed by the research policy and guidelines approved by the University authorities. Students have carried out their research in the fields of Marketing, Finance, Human resources, General awareness, and other areas of management and commerce to enhance their research and research-related skills by providing adequate opportunities to deploy those skills.
