On the occasion of Independence Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at Dr. C.V. Raman University. On this occasion, students presented patriotic programmes, while students from Bhutan and Nepal gave cultural performances. NCC cadets were also awarded their rank distribution.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradeep Kumar Ghosh, Registrar Dr. Arvind Kumar Tiwari, Campus Director Dr. Jayanti Chatterjee, Chief Health and Medical Officer Dr. Avijit Raizada, and legal scholar Anand Mohan Tiwari, along with a large number of faculty members and students.
