Dr. C. V. Raman University, Bilaspur, organized Constitution Day under the theme “Our Constitution—Our Pride” through the joint initiative of the Department of Law, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club, National Service Scheme (NSS), and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp before the portrait of Goddess Saraswati, followed by floral tributes to a copy of the Constitution of India, symbolizing respect for the nation’s supreme law.
The chief guest of the program, Shri Govind Ram Miri, senior advocate of the Supreme Court and former member of Parliament, addressed the gathering and shared valuable insights into the constitutional framework of the Indian judiciary, executive, and legislature. He described the judiciary as a vigilant guardian of fundamental rights and emphasized the importance of every citizen sincerely fulfilling their fundamental duties to strengthen democracy.
