Dr. C. V. Raman University, Bilaspur, organized Bal Vigyan Utsav 2026 under the Shodh Shikhar Programme for students from Classes 9 to 12. The event aimed to nurture scientific thinking, encourage innovation, and instill a sense of responsibility toward environmental conservation and sustainable development. The central theme of the program, “Innovation for Impact: Advancing Green Technology and Sustainable Goals for Viksit Bharat,” reflected contemporary national and global priorities.
The science festival witnessed participation from more than 50 schools across the state, with approximately 285 students showcasing their creativity and knowledge through innovative science models. Despite being at the school level, students demonstrated a remarkable ability to present complex scientific concepts in a simple, creative, and practical manner, impressing guests, teachers, and parents alike.
