Dr. C.V. Raman University organized a series of special events to mark the Silver Jubilee (25 years) of Chhattisgarh’s foundation, Seva Pakhwada, and the University’s Chancellor’s Day. The programs were dedicated to honoring the life, vision, and contributions of Chancellor Dr. Santosh Choubey, with participants taking a pledge to draw inspiration from his personality and achievements.
The celebration featured tree plantation drives, medicinal seed sowing, and a massive 5 km-long human chain spreading the message of environmental protection. University Vice Chancellor Prof. Pradeep Kumar Ghosh and Registrar Dr. Arvind Kumar Tiwari planted sandalwood and Rudraksha saplings in the campus. Students also carried out cleanliness campaigns in the university and surrounding areas, promoting the spirit of Swachh Bharat.
