Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur, celebrated the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand as a National Sports Festival, highlighting the importance of sports in shaping discipline, teamwork, and holistic development among students.
The festival commenced with great enthusiasm and witnessed active participation from both students and faculty members. A special highlight of the event was the friendly football match between the students of Bhutan and India, symbolizing unity, friendship, and the spirit of healthy competition. Alongside football, a variety of sporting events were organized including volleyball, basketball, chess, carrom, and other indoor and outdoor competitions, ensuring that every participant had an opportunity to showcase their talent and energy.
