Cultural Activities

The state of Chhattisgarh in central India is like a whiff of fresh air, especially if you happen to arrive here from a concrete jungle. It is a small paradise, situated at the heart of the country, not only known for its exceptional scenic beauty but also for its rich cultural history, dating back to thousands of years. Chhattisgarh has its own unique forms of dances, music, cuisines, tribal festivals and more, offering an enriched environment for cultural and social development. The harmonization of eastern and western art as a result of the British imperialism has added an articulation to the rich ethnicity and culture of Chhattisgarh.

As a part of the student’s academic life, he must not only gain the technical insight for a successful career but also receive the integral values of our traditions, culture and ethos. At CVRU, we help our students to grow as morally responsible citizens of India. The special Cultural Activity Team focuses on this form of non-formal education through a host of co-curricular activities and events.

The Cultural Activity Team coordinates and enables the students to be actively involved in the various forms of cultural and co-curricular activities. Budding musicians and stage performers will feel right at home at our campus where they will find like-minded fellow performers, as well as a plethora of opportunities where they can showcase their talent. The main aim is to showcase the campus talent, and give upcoming artists the facilities to perform and create.
