The Dr. C.V. Raman University has an excellent Placement and Training Cell which provides constant support and ensures maximum placement of students in their final year. The university maintains a close relationship with the industry to remain updated with the latest trends and developments. All courses are modeled and redesigned at constant intervals to increase the placement options for students.

The Placement and Training Cell provides special training and mock tests to increase the students’ chances in cracking difficult placement examinations. A T&P officer supervises all activities of the cell. It also consists of separate department officers and student representatives who handle and help organize trainings and placements.

Objectives:

• Organizes campus recruitment programs for B.E, B.C.A and M.B.A students
• Aims to provide at least one job to every student
• Organizes internships, research and industrial training programs for students

At CVRU, we encourage our students to aim for the best jobs during our on-campus recruitment. Students recruited at CVRU fall among the top-notch technical professionals in the country. Students are also encouraged to undertake special personality development programs to further increase their chances for successful placements. The 2009-10 year recorded a 86% recruitment of final year students through various sectors in the industry.

The University organizes industrial training and visits for the final year students to industries across the country. A total of 240 students of Computer Science, Communication, Information Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering branches visited the following industries.
