This programme is offered by the department of Life Science as an effective program targeting the students who wish to pursue research on plants and microorganisms or higher studies in the field of Botany , Microbiology and Chemistry. The current research and teaching in the department include diverse aspects of Botany, Microbiology and Chemistry with a balance of organismal and reductionist. It offers in-depth knowledge of teaching and research programs in diverse areas of Botany, Microbiology and Chemistry. The programs of B.Sc. in Microbiology is a full-time Undergraduate degree program of a period of 3 years distributed in 6 semesters containing total 138 credits as per the norms and guidelines prescribed by UGC.
