The Department of English (Linguistics, 2017) was established under the aegis of School of Humanities & Languages in the academic year 2008. Later in the year 2011 B.A and M.A. in English, Sanskrit and Hindi, we have taken our first step in the field of research by starting of M.Phil.and Ph.D. in English, Sanskrit and Hindi pioneers to promote the study of language sciences introducing an interdisciplinary approach. The Department of Linguistics (2017) has been providing excellent teaching and in-depth research. From the very beginning, the Department provided post graduate teaching and research facilities leading to B.A., M.A., M. Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in English, Sanskrit, Hindi and Chhattisgarhi languages.
